Corned beef hash, eggs and rice for breakfast

Some days, I get the inspiration to prepare a heavy breakfast for the family. This morning's menu is corned beef hash, fried eggs, and steamed rice. I fried some diced potatoes and sauteed garlic, red onions, and bell peppers. Then I added our local favorite brand, Purefoods corned beef. I had only one serving of rice. I can't seem to eat so heavily in the morning anymore. Sometimes I don't even have the appetite for anything. I'm so stuffed right now so I guess the dessert will have to wait. Later, I'm having the mango float that my eldest daughter made last night. What do you usually prepare for breakfast?

Today I just consumed the last few avocados that my son brought during his visit to his girlfriend last time. He brought a basketful of avocados, and since I am the only one that loves to eat them, for several days it has become my breakfast until today.

@almostoveryou I don't usually eat avocado, but I forced myself to finish them over the last four days so they wouldn't go to waste, as no one else in the house was interested. I enjoy mine prepared with a splash of milk and a little bit of sugar.

@rsa101 How can no one be interested in avodaco? We also have ours with milk - powdered or condensed milk.

Oh, wow. I would love that too. My Ilocana mom trained us to eat those vegetables. Yummy. We use "bagoong isda" and calamansi as dipping sauce.

My breakfasts vary a lot. I do have a couple of cans of roast beef hash on hand. I do prefer to eat bigger at breakfast and less as the day goes by.

Roast beef hash sounds delicious. It's good to eat less by dinnertime. I've been trying very hard to switch to that regimen.

Is it raining where you are? We started off with a gloomy morning, and I was really excited for the rains to come. And then the sun came out again. Maybe later?

Sounds very good. I don't really eat breakfast, but I do eat breakfast foods. Usually, it's scrambled eggs.

We love scrambled eggs too. We also sometimes treat ourselves to breakfast food at dinnertime.

You usually have a dessert for breakfast?

I eat dessert only if I ate something savory for breakfast. It's just to sort of balance the flavors in my mouth. Usually, we'd have a banana or a mango for dessert.
