It is hot. Ugly hot. 88 degrees Fahrenheit. Wait, you're saying, that's not that hot. Well, factor in the humidity and it is a "feels like" temperature of 109 Fahrenheit. But wait, it's going to reach 95 degrees Fahrenheit today, so I don't even want to think about what the "feels like" temperature is on that.
Do you know what it means when I say "feels like temperature?"
Borrowing from what Copilot AI says, it is this: "“Feels like” temperature is the perceived temperature your body experiences after accounting for wind, humidity, and sometimes sunlight, not just the actual air temperature. It reflects how environmental factors change heat loss or heat retention on your skin, making it feel colder or hotter than the thermometer reading."
I just hope our air conditioner stays healthy and running for the next 8-10 weeks of this awful Summer. I HATE hot weather!

My watch went off while I was at lunch, saying they’ve upgraded it to an extreme heat warning.
Glad Brian Goode is on vacation this week, or he’d post a picture of sn*w on Facebook and say, “Hey, miss me yet?”
I’m definitely praying everyone’s AC keeps working, and people who don’t have AC have a comfortable place to go.

That is definitely hot for sure. It's going to really hot and humid here. It'll be a little too hot for comfort, but better than the freezing cold. And at least I work from home all week except Friday(day in office) and wednesday (day off). Plus we have the AC and a pool.

Personally when I leave my workroom for the night I feel like a pancake on a griddle,

Oh, I know exactly what you mean. People always look at the actual temperature and think, “That’s not too bad,” but humidity changes everything. An 88°F day with a 109° heat index is brutal because the moisture in the air makes it harder for sweat to evaporate, so your body can’t cool itself properly.
