So I went out this afternoon and cleaned the birdfeeder and moved it. Like I said, it had gotten rained in. It was getting unappetizing.
I noticed the little birds were foraging closer to the living room window, rather than the dining room window, so I cleaned off the glass and put it there. Only did this about an hour ago.
Now we are having three and four birds at a time visit and eat. It is making Bruno bonkers to just watch and not chase them.
This is going to be fun for Bob to watch as well.
Today we saw a doe in the field across the way. I think she was headed for the river.
I expect that the squirrels will find the bird seed too. They are all welcome.

I wanted to put a bird feeder attached to the window, but I don't want to attract unwanted animals to it, mice or bear for instance. Rodents go for the spilled seed.

It drives Diana crazy that the squirrels try to eat the bird seed because she likes seeing the birds so much better. She sees the squirrels all the time, but with the bird feeder by the kitchen window she wants the closeup of the birds. I, however, get a kick out of the squirrels too. Only, the squirrels do try to get the birds, and no one wants that.

Poor Bruno but I'm sure Bob will enjoy watching the birds.
