Old / Primitive way

YUP! I still wash clothes the old way . Wash means I'm done with the soaping and soaking in the washing machine ,now its time to remove excess soap with clean water. What I did was I remove the soaped clothes from the washing machine , I finished the timer when it was washed. I squeeze excess water and soap uaing my both hands and arms haha then place it in a big basin with clean water. Thats where I wash them.
Usually in Asian countries this is a normal method and after doing that I will put the washed clothes inside the dryer to dry even more and then hang them to dry.
Thats how we wash clothes in our country , how about in your country?

I used to wash things out by hand when my daughter was small, and we lived in a trailer for a while. Had no transportation to a laundromat even if I had the money to pay. Fresh clothes dried on the line outside are wonderful when you bring them in. They smell so good. And that included the 7 or eight dozen diapers I had to wash up back then.

Oh I remember diapers were washed during that time , I'm 80's born and grew up in the 90's .

I guess many people still rinse their clothes with water, but they use a washing machine to soak and wash them with detergent, since applying soap and scrubbing by hand is the harder part. The washing machine has become a huge help in cleaning clothes, while rinsing is now a much lighter task of removing excess soap.

In America, we have a washing machine, and then a dryer for after they are through washing. Of course, some people, to save money and be more environmentally friendly hang their clothes on a clothesline. The majority of people though have a dryer if they can afford it. Especially if they live in a part of the country that is frequently damp.

Its really amazing how different people from different countries differ in some ways , but at the end our concern is to have clean clothes .

If I washed them in the washing machine then all steps from start to finish; soak to rinse to dry, is in the washing machine 'cause it's fully automatic. But after, I still want them exposed in the sun so I hang them out. If I wash by hand, which I do for some clothes then everything is by hand then dry them in the sun.

There are a lot of ways to wash clothes, but to be honest hand wash is really difficult. There are laundry soap that are harsh to our hands.
