Are you a napper?

I remember when there was no napping in my life.
Even if I only slept two hours the night before, I couldn’t nap. Now, I have to stop myself from napping. I get to where I literally can’t keep my eyes open. I kind of miss the days with no napping! Thankfully, I don’t nap for more than an hour anymore. My stepmom naps for three hours straight, and I’m not kidding. She works hard on her yard every single morning, but three hours is a long time. And, it’s always three solid hours unless you purposely wake her up.

Oh yes, I am a professional napper. I'm so good at it that some of my naps turn into long bouts of full-blown long sleep!

@AmbiePam - Usually. Sometimes I still want to sleep more.

I am 100% a napper. Any time, any place, and under any conditions. And for me, it can be a 5-minute power nap and I wake up feeling like a million bucks.

@AmbiePam I can nap through WW3 and I wouldn’t hear a thing. But I’m only that way with naps. At night, during normal sleep, I will wake up if my neighbor three houses down farts. lol I’m a very light sleeper at night.

Just now
I like the way Scott put it: professional napper.
That’s me! I have my car set up so I can take naps when I’m on the road!

Absolutely!! I usually close my eyes mid afternoon for at least a half hour. There are days when I don't get to nap but 99% of the time I can squeeze one in, Wow 3 hours is a LONG time to nap. Good for her if she's able to.

I don’t want to gross you out, but sometimes she has to lay down to get her innards to go back where they need to. Because of a car accident and the seatbelt slicing into her middle, she has no muscle in her stomach, and the mesh they put to hold everything in, doesn’t work how it should. So sometimes during the day she had to lay down and let things “settle”. I’ve always wondered if somehow that took a toll that made it necessary for her to rest more.

@AmbiePam Wow that's so sad to hear that she has this problem. Her nap is more therapeutic and deservedly so

I wish I was a napper. I try. It does not really come to me. I laid down for an hour yesterday.

No, sometimes I try, but I have to be really exhausted for it to work.

Yes I do siesta time after I eat my lunch after a 30-monute rest. My nap usually lasts for 10 to 15 or a maximum of 1 hour but not only

I have to take a nap for a few hrs, cause my health requires it, my sugar drops
& I go down like a ton of bricks where I can't function, I get hot & sweaty & dizzy
so I take a few hrs nap my sugar gets back on track & I'm good to go again.
