Memory of Vacations in the Past

I remember one year my ex and I went to Van Couver, British Columbia Canada. It was lovely. We slept in the truck mostly and our blue heeler, Stryder, was our security whenever we left. To bathe we used a coin operated shower on the beach. I went first. Then I left my ex with what I thought would be enough coins (a little more than I had used) and took the dog for a walk down the beach. In about an hour or so I returned to pick up my ex and resume our day. There he stood with this stricken look on his face leaning against the building with dried soap on his body. The deal was that I am 5 foot four inches and he is 6 foot 3 inches and he had about 50-60 pounds on me. He hadn't had near enough coins to finish his body. Not a good time for my ex waiting for me to return with soap drying on his body. Ugh!

I don't why he didn't. Maybe thought we'd get separated.

Those coin operated showers were a real nuisance
And believe it or not, a place we used to go on holiday has just installed them , so we won't be going back there
Men always seem to take longer in a shower
