We arrived at the caravan mid afternoon after a few stops, one for food and two for shopping.... The site isn't as busy as I thought it would be, but that maybe because there is an England match on tonight. Our next door neighbour is here though and I'm looking forward to catching up with her this week. Although The Mister has to go home tomorrow for work on Monday , I am here for two weeks .... Hooray for the seaside ..... Are you having a holiday this year ?

@Aquitaine24 I go on 28 August and I hope the terrible heat has abated by then - 36 centigrade (94F) right now.

Enjoy your fortnight. I know about Newcastle-upon-Tyne but does Western-Super-Mare signify anything? Does the 'super' mean something?

Were you picturing a female horse wearing a cape and flying?

@JudyEv. Weston is the name of the town and Super Mare means 'upon the sea' ....so it's really just means Weston by the sea ...
