Let Us Know if You See Mitch

The whole Mitch McConnell story is one that is absolutely bizarre to me. I mean, we haven't heard from him in almost a month. His family and staff say he's fine, alert and recovering. He's had apparent 20-minute conversations with other Republicans on key issues. We know he suffered a major cardiac event in June. What we haven't gotten is any 'proof of life.' And it makes for an even more interesting story considering the Kentucky law that states, if incapacitation or death occurs before August 3rd, a special election must be held. After August 3rd, the party gets to pick their replacement. So, is this is a conspiracy? Or just a privacy issue? The thing is that the story is taking wild turns with the rumor mill in full force. You'd think they'd want to avoid this. If Senator McConnell can have coherent 20-minute conversations with colleagues, and is directing staff while he recovers, he can post a 10-second video saying, "Hi. I'm alive. Stop speculating." Of course, you've likely heard in the news that long-time Republican Senator, Lindsey Graham passed away at the age of 71 suddenly. Maybe he can send us a quick message to let us know if Mitch is up there with him or not.

Listen, McConnell hasn’t been “fine” for two or three years. Very surprised about Senator Graham. Prayers and sympathies to his family.

@LooeyVille I would not be one bit surprised, honestly.

Why can't they just be honest about what's going on? That's a rhetorical question - no need for an answer.
