I decided to skip the pool today

I've been to the pool almost every day since I got out of work. The crazy lifeguard even remarked on it yesterday. I had planned to go today as per usual but after being up way too early this morning I went back to bed and tried to sleep. I wasn't successful but I just laid there with Adso and Claire in this mindless state. When 11 rolled around I wasn't in any rush to get up. . . so I didn't. I am fine with taking a day off. My skin is very dark. I sent a picture of my tan lines to my ex and he was shocked. My hair is also absurdly light to the point of looking dirty blonde rather than brown. It lightened up super quickly this summer. If Chantal was still in touch I would get her to apply some toner to it. It has never been my goal to be full-on blonde. So I'm just chilling here with the cat crew. I have Outlander on for the zillionth time. I sort of thought my ex would make an appearance this morning but I haven't heard from him. It is fine that I don't have anything going on. I'm not mad about it.
