Goodbye, more things

I did a bit of cleaning and decluttering last week. This time, I found it quite easy to dispose of some things. I'm probably coming to my senses. It felt good to fill up a large bag of trash and drop it into one of the huge bins at the basement of our condominium.
I also gathered some old clothes, beddings and sheets that can still be used or donated to charity. We're on typhoon season already, and during this time we prepare these things for people who might need to evacuate due to flooding and heavy rains.
I'm hoping to significantly downsize my material possessions to about half this year or next year. This apartment is too small, and I cannot afford to pay for storage. Might as well dispose of some stuff I no longer can use. I'm selling a few books and art supplies on Carousell.

No, but we really need to donate more stuff to one of the thrift stores here so disadvantaged people can pick up stuff they need cheaply. I know we have a large tote in our garage full of extra blankets and different sized sheet sets along with pillow cases to go with the sheets.
We fill another plastic tote to take to the garage every summer and the garage is half full of totes of "stuff" we don't need haven't used in the 10 years we've lived in this house. There are ten or twelve totes of books that have been in the garage since we moved here, too. Nobody wants real books anymore.

@almostoveryou I used to donate all my books to the local library until they stopped accepting donations. The librians told me that I donated more books than the city bought every year. (I used to read a book a day and gave them all to the library if my mom didn't want to read them first.)
Now, of course, I read ebooks I get online and download to my Kindle Cloud... Hmm... why don't you try this site and see if you can download ebooks from it... I can't remember if I've offered you this site or not. If the link works for you, you can download 5 free ebooks every 24 hours and read them on your phone or tablet using the Kindle app (The Kindle app is free and works for iPhones or Android. Just download the correct type and language you prefer from that site. I download the .epub version for my Moto G Power 5G phone.)

I should remember to get in touch with the staff of the newly renovated city library. It's a small library but I hope they can accommodate my books. I've already sold/donated/handed down a lot from our old house. The ones I brought to this new home are books I want to keep and books I hoarded during the pandemic but haven't read.
I checked out the site. They've got titles on my want-to-read list!! I'll download a few using my tablet. Thanks, DE.

I've nothing unnecessary in my house. A few days back there were some old magazines, but I had donated them to the local public library.

@almostoveryou Yes, local library is the best place for the books. Many other people can read those books there.
