Mitch McConnell's team releases a statement and photo as "proof of life"

The GOP senator from Kentucky has been out of the public eye for the past month after being rushed to the hospital. There were no details released about what happened and his wife flew off to China just 3 days after he was hospitalized. It has been rumored that he was brain dead or even dead. Kentucky's governor Andy Beshar (sp?) has repeatedly demanded an update on McConnell's health and last night stated that he would appoint a replacement for him despite the fact that KY law requires a special election. Not even 10 minutes later a statement and photo was released by the senator's team. It said that he was hospitalized due to a fall and then had a mild case of pneumonia but he hadn't had a heart attack or stroke. Okay fine. But the picture they released? Yeah that was AI generated. Chao has 3 hands in it. As I've said many times before I am not a conspiracy theorist by any means but that picture and statement don't convince me that Mitch McConnell is alive and recovering. There hasn't even been any word that his wife Elaine Chao has returned from China yet.
