Insurance Companies Are So Weird

I have been getting a anti-depressant for many years. Probably at least 10 if not longer. Today my daughter comes back from the drug store saying she couldn't get my prescription because there is a co-pay. I have never in all the years I have gotten this drug paid a co-pay on it. I didn't pay a co-pay when I got it mailed to me. (Same insurance.) The druggist tells me that insurance companies change from day to day and this just happens with no real reason given. Ugh!
I will have to call them, I guess. But not today. Having a bad one and it is too late anyway.

Sorry to learn that you were not able to get your anti-depressants today.

I hate when insurance companies do things like that. We have copays on all of our medications, but we also have private insurance. I think it's insane what they charge people just to stay alive and healthy. I feel like if you pay for insurance, it should cover everything.

I don't recall this many changes before with other companies.
