Twinning!

Reading @LooeyVille 's recent discussion suddenly reminded me of my cousin. She's 2 years older than me. She was my mom's favorite and she was my best friend. Whenever my mom bought me clothes, she would buy two of the same kind. One for me and one for my cousin. We were always together, playing together. And our favorite place to play was our mom's Uncle's house because there was a swing in the yard, a rocking horse he made for us, a tree to climb. One day we went to Uncle's house and there was a newly hired nanny who saw us for the first time and she asked if we were twins! We don't look alike at all. But we always dressed the same! I don't blame the nanny for thinking we might be twins.

Impossible. She's a nun now. She has been for many years now.

@rakski We were kids. We hardly see each other anymore when I turned 7.

I guess I'm just missing my cousin. It's been years that we haven't seen each other. But I made her my son's godmother.

Oh my goodness, it was the same with me and my cousin, who is 2 years younger. We loved to dress the same, only different colour. She was blonde and wore baby blue and I was dark blonde and wore pink.

In our case, it's exactly the same even the colors. And before we parted ways at the end of the day, we'd talk what we would wear the next day. It was fun.

@toniganzon We only wore different colors, we also had the same umbrella, the same shoes, the same handbag.

That’s cute that the two of you always dressed alike! My little brother is 2 years younger than me, but my parents always dressed us the same, so we looked like twins growing up.

The funny thing is we are opposites. She's a nun now.

No wonder the nanny thought you were twins.

Yep. It was only her who thought we were anyway.
