So, I was telling son that the hotel we are going to in CHicago for the wedding has some Japanese Peruvian cuisine and drinks. I thought that was a really interesting combo and unlikely. He told me that Peru and Japan have a long history together and there was even someone of Japanese extraction that ruled Peru at one time. I don't know how he knew this about Peruvians and the Japanese, but I sure didn't. Did you know anything about this?

Nope, but all I know Japan is very notorious before, conquering other countries and very brutal, I am just happy they have changed.

I think they were originally brought there to work or as slaves of a sort. I forgot which.

@snowy22315 thanks for the info, but I think that's a bit sad.

I did not know that specifically but over the years I have seen some interesting combinations of cultures.

I don't know all of the details, but yes that sounds like something I've heard on youtube.

It isn't something you hear about everyday for sure.
