My friend's flight to Paris was at 11:30 last night but he started packing his stuff only late in the afternoon.
He told me he had no motivation to leave at all. He didn't want to leave but he had really no choice. It's work.
And at exactly 10:30, he went into the boarding room and started boarding the plane.
Sometimes we just don't get what we want.

How long will he be in Paris? Surely it will not be all work all the time. There must be a few days of rest and relaxation to explore the city.

He's from there so exploring isn't part of his plan. He will be there only for a month.

When it comes to work we don't usually have much of a choice. I hope your friend had a safe flight to Paris.

He landed yesterday at 12:30. He made sure to let me know as soon as the plane landed.
