Gas prices heading up again in California.

After a fairly substantial slide, from $6 to $5 here in the suburban Bay Area, gas prices are heading back up here. I wonder what will happen next. Trump says he has completely wiped out Iran's military, so oil tankers should be passing freely through the Strait of Hormuz. But then, I read they're not . I even hear that Iran is now attacking US bases in the Middle East. What gives? What do you think will happen next?

On my way home this morning, the stations I drove past were from $4.19 to $4.39. It goes up and down so often even the gas app Gas Buddy thing can't keep up. I think we all worry about what could happen next.

@MarieCoyle I always thought you were in California too, I do not know why I thought that, just did I guess. That makes sense if you in the midwest, to far to drive for me to get those prices.

@crossbones27 For the Midwest right now, that's expensive to us. Most of Illinois surrounding states are a lot less than we are, always.

Here our corrupt government only reduces prices during election season, else they shamelessly hike it in the name of global crisis

Trump is clueless. But he's going to leave office kicking and screaming.

Our lowest here per the net is $3.85. People will not be able to use their cars.

When I actually do the math, I realize it's not THAT much more expensive to get to and from my friend's house 20 miles away.

I noticed yesterday that gas prices were rising again. I have a feeling this back and forth military action between the two countries is going to keep happening for the foreseeable future. And other Middle East countries are going to suffer collateral damage in the meantime.

Sometimes I feel like I am living in a large poorly produced reality show.
