It is Monday!

Good morning and Happy Monday everyone!
Yes, happy Monday. I return to work today from a week's vacation.
Today I was able to sleep later because I have training for the first few days of the week and they had to have me start later. The sleeping in part was wonderful, I did none of that last week. My husband's days are long ones, and I matched my days to his.
I prefer my schedule and am happy to be back on it as of today. I do have my second week of vacation time booked for the last day of August carrying through the remainder of that week and leading into the Labour Day long weekend.
But today, today is Monday and that means a return to the usual schedule for me.

Coming back from vacation is always hard I'm glad at least you got a later start. I'm chilling in bed with BBC News on , a new PM is a big deal. Have a great day back!!

Nice you got to sleep in before starting work this morning. I woke up at 4 and was awake for awhile, but got back back to sleep for a short time. I still can tell I need more rest though. I'm up now though, and will probably stay up.

Thank you, it was a hard day, the training wasn't easy and there are still 2 more days of it.
But the day ended on a very sweet note.
We met our son, his wife and the twins at a restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it was just as sweet as could be. The girls were so excited. Last night when my DIL put them to bed, she told them that when they wake up in the morning it will be my birthday, and the first words out of Harper's mouth this morning, was its Nanny's birthday today! So if I ever want to remember something, I will just tell Harper.
