Hello everyone. I hope your day has been going well. It is 75 degrees F and getting dusky here at the Jersey Shore. I finally turned off the AC and opened up the windows after about dropping dead when I opened up the email saying that my electric bill for the past month is $202. Oh well. At least I can afford it. All of those coverages and tutoring are handy! I was at the pool for about 4 hours today. I met a neighbor who I've never seen there before. I floated on the pool mat for awhile. I played my country music playlist and the crazy lifeguard refrained from logging into my speaker and messing with it. He kicked everyone out at 3:30pm so he could have his lunch break. I don't understand why we have to leave when we can just get out of the pool and relax on the lounge chairs but whatever. I came back here and napped for like 3 hours. I don't know why I'm sleeping so much lately but I can only assume it is connected to the fact that I keep waking up in the middle of the night. When I finally woke up I took a bath. My skin is super dry and flaky due to all of the sun exposure. I exfoliated with a salt scrub and then slathered myself in Nivea body lotion before I got dressed. I'm sure it will still be dry tomorrow but hopefully I won't look like a reptile. I need to get some Butterball bath bombs from LUSH. So now I'm up and doing my thing. I need to make something for dinner. I need to clear out the litter boxes. I should probably do a load of laundry. Will any of it happen? We shall see.

I’m surprised your electric bill is higher than mine. I know you have one more room than I do, but you use your windows so often I thought yours would be around mine. It’s too much for comfort, but I’ll skimp on other things if it means I can use my air conditioner.

That's why I'm happy to give up my breaks and lunch. I don't want to change my lifestyle

A three-hour nap after spending four hours at the pool sounds like your body was telling you it needed the rest. Hopefully tonight you'll actually sleep through the night too.

Wow! That is really high and that's about what out electric bill was before we had all the work done of this house last summer. This month our bill is $150 for electric. We can handle that! It's still 88F outside here at 8:30 pm.
