Lost boy found

About a month ago, I posted about how a local kid went missing. There were no known leads; he just up and disappeared without a trace. No one knew where he was or where he was going apart from what he originally told people. He went missing on June 4th. Today, it was mentioned that he was found safe. He actually reached out and contacted his mom. He apparently had an old phone that had internet access with wifi, and an FB page that no one knew existed. I don't know any or all of the details. I don't know where he was or why he went missing for so long, but he is officially home and safe. His mom refuses to tell anyone the details or where he was, which is her prerogative; she doesn't owe anyone explanations, but it sure would be nice to know where he was all of this time, and if anyone was anywhere near close to finding him or even looking in the right places. I honestly don't believe he ever would have been found if he didn't return on his own. His family doesn't owe anyone an explanation, but I do have to say it sure would be nice to have one after everyone went to great lengths to help find him, but maybe it is sensitive information. My husband had a coworker who knew him say that the family was abusive, but I don't know how true that is, and I don't know who was abusive to whom. I would think if he was abused, he wouldn't want to go back after working so hard not to be found in the first place. I'm just glad he's home and safe; hopefully he stays that way.
