Had a Weird Dream

It got me to thinking. How many chemicals we come into contact with daily. Now days there are chemicals in everything. Even fresh food needs to be washed. There are chemicals in the laundry soap, laundry accessories, shampoo, conditioner, body lotions and bath gels, beauty products, frozen foods, clothing, cleaners, carpeting, gardening sprays and miscellaneous, containers, cereals, packaging, and who knows what all else. It's a chemical world.

It really is surprising when you stop and think about it. We come into contact with countless chemicals every day, often without even realizing it. From the products we use to clean our homes to the food we eat and the clothes we wear, modern life is full of substances that have been processed or manufactured in some way.

Chemicals are all over everything.
We always wash our clothing separately before we wear anything new.
I always wash our produce and dry it and wipe down canned or boxed items from the grocery store-you never know who's hands have touched them and where they were before.

Well indeed it is! And imagine how many of those chemicals are toxic? We cannot eliminate all of them but we can actually limit how much we take. We just have to be aware. They're not only hazardous to our health but to our environment as well.

Chemicals are indeed everywhere
It surprised me how many chemicals get sprayed on fresh fruit and vegetables
I hadn't ever really thought about chemicals.
There are even chemicals in the water we drink
