Lars and the Real Girl

I saw a movie last night that I had heard about for years, but had never seen it. It stars Ryan Gosling and is about his love affair with a lifelike plastic doll who he insists is real. It took place in a small town and all of the people in the town supported him in his delusion..and treated the doll like a real person. It was quite interesting..and highly unusual. I never saw a movie like it. It is worth seeing if you have not done so.

I don't think people are as sweet in real life as those townspeople were. It would be hard to find a place like that.
