...Just got home from work. Today's one of those nothing really happened kinda days. No big drama, no crazy stories..it was crazy hot in the afternoon though
Aside that , today was just quiet. no power either, I'm kinda used to that ..
so I'll be making dinner soon and then getting ready for an online gig tonight...hope something shows up
...Not exactly a thrilling Friday evening, but hey, that's life sometimes. I guess not every day is supposed to be action-packed.
.and guys ...how do you handle days like this? Do you lean into the quiet or do you get restless?

Every single day since I moved in February, everything has become routinely. Nothing exciting at all. And I'm surviving. Thanks to mylot and friends I talk to online. They make my life a bit spicier.

I love the quiet days. It lets me read books on my phone, watch favorite YouTubers talking about interesting-to-me subjects or watching them play games online. Sometimes, I text with friends. (Some in the US via regular text messages and some with friends in other countries as long as they have WhatsApp on their phone, tablet or laptop. (WhatsApp makes it free to call or text people in other countries as long as both devices have the app.)

I can do all types of days.
I take every day in my stride
Action packed are the best days though
I am too busy to get restless
And if I do get restless we go out for a ride on one of our motorcylces

At my age I appreciate the quiet days. I leave town when all the “excitement” starts up with the Kentucky Derby. You’re right, not every day has to be exciting. One of my favorite things to do is watch web cams out of the Florida Keys while the sun sets.

Although we did go out last night to a Nepalese restaurant.
