My culinary experiment for today. Do you ever try something totally new?

Yesterday I scored some Marie' Callender's Sesame Chicken at Safeway. It cost $4.49 and was in the frozen food section, next to my beloved Stouffer's frozen meals. The Sesame Chicken can be cooked in a regular oven (some frozen stuff I'd like to try apparently cannot be) and takes about 45 minutes to heat up (in said regular oven). It has noodles, rather than rice, which made me even more tempted to try it. I actually just took my first bite. The taste is good, and the carrots are neither too hard or too mushy. I'll write more after I've had a few more bites. Do you ever try something totally new? Do you even eat "frozen dinners"?

Frozen Dinners Very rarely. We do try new things sometimes And if we like it we add it to our list of things to eat. It's quite a long list now

Understandable. I have not cooked my favorite "I made it from--almost--scratch" dishes in a long time Kitty rarely lets me have guests.

George and I used to a couple times a week. Eat frozen dinners. We don't anymore though. I'm lucky if I can get him to eat more than cookies on a given day.

@TheHorse Not since the stroke. Not really. He wants cookies and milk for dinner. Once or twice a week we'll have something out of a can, and then there's nights when I do a full meal. At least I can get a complete meal in him twice a day. The rest of the week is hit-or-miss. Most of the time, he'll have a few fries from the drive thru when we go out. It's not easy. Having the stroke did a lot to him. At least he eats something (even if it's not the healithist) every single night. It's an improvment when he'd throw hands when I tried to access his feeding tube.

Nice that your meal was good. We have been eating a lot of frozen dinners lately. It's too hot to cook. We've been eating Healthy Choice chicken and broccoli dishes. Pretty good.

Frozen dinners almost never. I try new recipes time by time, right now I am not in the mood of cooking and not even eating.
