Do you feel depressed on cold days?

..4:09 PM, Nigeria. I'm at work, and it's unexpectedly cold and cloudy... Power came back about an hour ago, but only for a short while... obviously, the fault got fixed. I thought it would take a longer time. I managed to charge my phones a little.
The cold and cloudy days sometimes bring my mood down. Even though I actually like cool weather. I've heard people in colder countries get more depressed... maybe weather and mood are connected.
Regardless, I do prefer the cool weather. And I'm just taking it as it comes. Im gonna stop typing now with one question. Do you feel depressed on cold days?

I have seasonal depression. I prefer the summer and the heat. I seem to be the only one.

In America they called it “Seasonal Affective Disorder” (or SAD, appropriately enough). The theory is that the lack of sunlight diminishes your body’s manufacturing of vitamin D. Plus, sunshine typically makes people feel better (the stereotypical cartoon of a sun is with a smiley face!).
Yes, I feel worse in the winter, which is why I usually head to Florida or Texas when it gets too cold here.

No, I don't, but my younger brother did. He had a special light that he plugged in and sat in front of it on cold/nasty days.

It's exceptionally cold and humid today, with persistent rain. So, yeah, I am feeling down.

I have a tendency to feel a bit depressed during the winter months here when it gets dark so early and it's freezing cold and snowy. I like Fall weather with cooler temperatures but it's still basically nice.
