Great stuff on getting the second eye done.
I meant to ask you before if you ever thought that you might not need glasses at all after the cataract surgery

I've thought about it but I don't know if it'll happen. I think I'll still have to wear some kind of reading glasses, anyway. My left eye has had a month to heal now, and I still can't clearly see up close through it.

I thought catoric surgery was supposed to improve vision.

I'm glad you finally got that done. Soon you'll be seeing too much!

As long as I can see your smiling face, I'll be happy.

As long as your eyes are fine and you can see and you get new glasses, I think that is wonderful. I wear prescription glasses but take them off to read fine print and read when I get into bed with a book,

You haven't considered bifocals, with the bottom of the lenses just ordinary glass? Kinda reverse of the usual?

Good for you! The VA did cataract surgery on both my eyes. I was nearly legally blind. Now my vision is perfect, I just need reading glasses. I don't mind the trade off.

Yes, it does sound like a good trade-off.

Thank you. I can see better at a distance already but not for reading.

Just 4 weeks of eye drops 4 times a day... I was so used by now to putting them in my left eye, that I put one in my left after supper.
