Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 71 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 78. It doesn't really matter much to me since I'm not going anywhere.
I'm glad I took my nightly meds before I went downstairs to call my ex. It takes some time for the Seroquel to kick in. I was still awake for a bit after I got into bed but it wasn't anything crazy. I did wake up a few times to use the bathroom but I was able to go back to sleep right away.
I woke up at 3:30am which was funny. One of the nurses does shifts at the phase 2 part of the program which is in a different location. (the main campus) I would wake up in the middle of the night and go to the nurse's station to chat with her. It became an ongoing joke that I couldn't sleep past 3. Well guess who was working here last night?
Eventually I came back to my room, took a shower, and got dressed. Does wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants even count as "getting dressed"?
I went and got myself a cup of coffee. I watched the news for awhile but then I decided to bend the rules a bit and went downstairs to ask the tech if I could have my laptop and phone. We aren't supposed to have electronics and can only use them if you get permission from your counselor. Your use also has to be done in one of the offices. I don't know why because it isn't like anyone is there sitting with you to supervise what you are doing.
Anyway yesterday the boss lady said I could use them. I started off in an office but eventually I moved up to this room because that's where the chargers are. The head tech walked in on me and totally didn't care. Last time she actually told me to just keep them here because the techs were already busy enough. The boss lady said she didn't care if I had them with me. So I asked the guy today for them and said "Boss Lady said I could use them." If she gets mad I'll just play dumb and thought she meant I could use them any time like I did back in March.
Today is another typical day here. Hopefully no one decides to go for a swim.
I will do at least 3 of the 4 clinical sessions and also acupuncture. I am also meeting with my counselor to discuss my plans for after discharge.
What's everyone else up to today?

It sounds like you had another pretty eventful night, even if it started with waking up at 3:30! I had to laugh at the running joke with the nurse. Of course she'd be there on the one night you wake up at the usual time. ??
