Happy Thursday Everyone! it's a bit cloudy here this morning but my weekly alarm clock went off by 8am. Yup it was sound of the mowers. The lawn crew arrived.
Once the riding mowers finished the guys came around to trim the bushes. Finally!!
I have this one bush that is between my garage and front porch that has these thorny branches and it grows out as well as up. Makes it difficult for anyone coming up my sidewalk to not get snagged by these thorny branches. I'm kind of surprised it took them this long to trim the bushes but glad it's done now.
It's really funny because I was just thinking yesterday that I might have to call my son-in-law to come over on the weekend and bring his electric trimmer to cut off some of those branches.
It's really a stupid bush to have planted where it is and I don't know what they were thinking when they did the original gardening/planting when I moved here.
Every year I say I'm going to see if the HOA will replace that bush or if I'll have to pay for the removal and a new one myself.
Now that's it's all nicely trimmed you know that phone call is on the back burner
My morning is off to a good start

If you dig your bush up we would give it a new home
Our garden is full of bushes that people decided that they didn't want anymore
I must take a picture and show you all my bushes

We don’t have any lawns here ….we have straw patches …..this is due to all the hot weather we have been having recently.
As our neighbour said ….’ At least we don’t have to cut the lawns ‘. We are not supposed to be using hose pipes at the moment.
