Ken, my remarkable neighbour !

I was coming back from a shopping trip this morning on the bus and I saw a neighbour …..he lives by my mom …his name is Ken and he is 98 years old.
Ken goes out every day ….
He is not the sort to stay indoors at all. He goes on the buses and sometimes the trains to local towns ….sometimes just for a walk around and sometimes just for a coffee and a slice of cake.
He is remarkable for his age.
It was lovely to have a catch up with him….i hadn’t seen him in a few weeks due to me going to the caravan.
I’m sure I have mentioned him before ….
He has a few aches and pains occasionally but generally he is fit and healthy.
I hope I am as good as Ken when I am 98 years old.

@Wrexxo you could easily knock at least 10 / 15 years off his age….

@AmbiePam …..when I see him on the bus when I’m going to Moms I always pop in for a coffee ….he saves magazines for me as he knows I like to try out new recipes…. He is very thoughtful and kind.

That is remarkable that he's so active at his age. God Bless Him! I couldn't do half what he does and I'm not even close to 98.

He is so remarkable …..he has had a couple of falls over the past few years but that’s it ….apart from that …just perfect.
