Up in the middle of the night

The other nurse I used to chat with in the middle of the night is working here tonight so of course she jinxed me. Anyway I woke up and saw someone in the other bed. Apparently she moved in and I slept through the entire thing. I guess the combination of the Seroquel, Flexeril, and Requip really knocks me out. I went out to the nurses' station and discovered a little party going on. There were 2 young women who were sitting in the recliners with one of the techs. I got myself a glass of water and joined them. They both were taking breathalyzers periodically. Neither of them can legally drive at this point with their levels. She just came in and got in bed. I offered to turn the TV off but she said that it didn't bother her. Okay I'll just take her at her word. It is better than sitting here in the dark and silence. It will be interesting to see if I can fall back to sleep. It definitely isn't going to be any time soon.

It’s hard for me to sleep anyway, I know in the past if I had a hospital roommate I was miserable.

I would hate to get a room with a snorer. My sister used to snore, and she’s give me a migraine. I’m assuming you didn’t get a snorer though.
