Possible UTI

I swear if I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all. The NP went over the results of my bloodwork with me on Friday evening. I'm deficient in pretty much every vitamin and mineral possible except calcium. I'm going to need to get a multivitamin when I get back. The other values were as expected including very low platelets. In fact that result was flagged as "potentially lethal". That's always fun to see. Anyway my kidney function is fine but the urinalysis showed the beginning of a UTI. That made sense to me because I keep having to go but not much comes out. There is no pain though. The NP said it was the beginning of a UTI. . . . . . and did not give me an antibiotic for it. I thought that was odd. I mean I really don't need another pill to add to my regimen but I also think it is dumb to see something coming and not stop it in its tracks. Oh well. Hopefully it won't progress further.

I would have thought an antibiotic for a few days would be the answer.

Oh, my. I think you should flap around and get an antibiotic! Surely they have a medical doctor on call for such things. No one wants a UTI.

Is it possible to reverse a UTI? I don’t like that they did nothing as a UTI is how I ended up with a 103 degree fever. I hope you can get enough water and cranberry juice to nip it in the bud.

What, they can't find an organic antibiotic for you? (sarcasm) Get your butt healthy, girl!
