I was under the impression that custard was always in a dish.
But it really looks delicious.
I made an apple cake for dessert tonight, and then made a peach cake, for another night.
We went to an orchard and have lots of fresh apples (20 pounds), 11 quarts of fresh peaches, yellow plums and apricots. Lot of fresh fruit now.

The custard is set and then cut to size and placed between two bits of yummy pastry and covered in icing.
It was really delicious
Apple cake and Peach cake , yes please, both of you could spare them
Yvonne makes Apple Crumble and Peach Crumble quite a lot
Which was have with non set custard
Nothing quite like fresh fruit for making cakes and crumbles with
