Doggies Spa Day

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's a nice sunny day here today but hot and humid. Today looks like the nicest day of the week and the sun will probably disappear in the upcoming days with rain in the forecast.
Yesterday was a busy day for me so I really didn't have much chance to spend here.
Today is another busy day and I'm just waiting for the groomer to come. The last time she was actually on time so I'm hoping today she isn't late. The pup really needs a good bath and haircut. It's been awhile since her last spa day between her having surgery, waiting for her to heal and get the stitches out and then the groomer was on vacation. It will be nice to have a nice smelling dog 
I am saving the vacuuming for after the groomer leaves. No matter how careful she is and cleans up after herself there always seems to be stray dog fur around. I used to vacuum before she came but realized it was an effort wasted.
Tonight is girls night so I'm looking forward to having my older daughter come over and it's her turn to bring dessert.
I know this day is going to fly by and hope that you're having a good one.

Hope the groomer is on time and does a good job
We used to groom our own dogs and wash them and use a hose to rinse them, used our own Shampoo lol, it was the 60,s
My dad bred and showed Collies so there was a lot.of washing and grooming

I can imagine there would be a lot of washing and grooming for Collies. They are beautiful dogs.
It's worth it to have the girl come to the house and do the whole works for Mush. She's small (Maltese) but with my daughter working full time and me not being able to bend and do all that grooming/washing etc it's just easier. Yes she was on time!! must have made a New Years resolution this year lol
I'm hoping it's a good dessert too! I'm saving my calories

Mush looks so much better and I'm sure she feels better too getting rid of all that extra fur especially since it's been so hot.
I'm with you and hoping we get rid of the humidity. A summer day without humidity is smile worthy.

Oh no, why did you have to remind me, I put off vacuuming yesterday so I guess I should get right on it 
I wish I could afford a spa day for Roscoe but not only is it expensive because he's big but he's also dangerous for me because if he gets the notion to flee I wouldn't be able to hang on to him or he could pull me around, whichever.

I wouldn't want to take the chance with Roscoe getting the idea to run either. Best to just forget about a spa day for him and heck let the vacuuming go too
