It's been quite a day

It's 10:09 p.m. here in Nigeria and I'm finally in bed after quite an emotional day... Because of phone issues yesterday, I couldn't access my calls, messages or WhatsApp, and today, I finally saw a message from my mum. She told me that my stepdad had been taken to the hospital because he wasn't feeling well.. . So I called to check on him. She said he's doing okay and he's on a drip, but not eating much. My brother was with him, and my sister was also heading to the hospital. I tried calling my mum again later, but couldn't reach her, so I'll check in again tomorrow to see how he's doing. I'm hoping and praying that he continues to improve. That's how my day has been. Hope things are great in your corner of mylot...Goodnight, and by God's grace, I'll be here tomorrow
