I visited my aunt last weekend, and it was sad and disappointing to realize how old and weak she has become. At 79, I’m not sure if she can recover from everything she’s going through, but I still hope and pray she gets the chance to enjoy life. What surprised me even more was seeing my cousin there too. We had planned this for about a week, and finally met at the hospital. His presence made the visit feel a bit lighter despite the situation. When we left, he offered to drive me home since I didn’t have my car, and I gladly accepted. On the way, I realized he had his own troubles he was keeping to himself. His wife has been cold toward him, and his son is struggling with depression, blaming him for what he’s going through. I was shocked, as I thought he was doing well. I advised him to focus on helping his son first, working together with his wife so their child can heal, and to address their marital issues later once their son is on the path to recovery.
