"You're a wit, Lloyd"

That's what a friend said, in the early 70s, after Lloyd Robertson made some wry comment after reporting on a news story that I've since forgotten, but the comment made the others in the room break up in laughter. And now he's dead, at age 92.

Calling someone a "wit" isn't necessarily a good thing. When mom called someone a wit, she wasn't being complimentary.

He retired in the early 80s no wonder i didn't knew him. he didn't even reach a hundred.
