My Eye Drops Were $2,000

Sadly, I won't receive the prescription eye drops for my eyelash mites until after I return from my trip.
They were $2,000. My health insurance paid a lot of it. It was still going to be a lot for me to pay for 30 days worth of eye drops. Several hundred dollars. So the pharmacy said there was a foundation that offered grants for eyedrop medication so she submitted me for application for that.
I made $480 too much money last year to qualify for the grant. Can you believe that? I missed it by $480.00.
So there's some more paperwork to do and I'll just have to pay for the eyedrops and they'll be here when I get back home.

Yikes that's crazy both for the price and that you missed the grant by such a small amount of money.

Wow! That's too expensive. I hope you get a budget for that.

That really sucks.
Did you ask the pharmacist if there was an online coupon that company offers? That's how I got my epi-pens when I was using two or three each month. (Thank goodness I'm only using one a month now.)
