Are you able to keep in your head what things you need to do OR, do you need to set an alarm or make a list?
For me, I have to set alarms, make a list, etc. My memory has not been good since a car accident I was in where I got a concussion. I have always had a problem with concentration too. Sad shape, huh? ADHD perhaps.

No alarms, mostly in my head because when I make a list, I don't tend to follow them. And I still easily remember the important ones.

I have a total system that requires careful planning: I have a notebook for jotting down the things I did during the day, a notebook of what I am working on and a notebook of what I have posted and where,

I have a rubbish memory, I have always struggled with it ever since I first realised I needed to be able to remember ore stuff, basically when I went to university. It is a real handicap, my life would be different if I could remember things! I mean my long-term memory is great, but remembering facts for exams etc I am useless at. I've tried memory exercises, self-hypnosis, gingko supplements... I wish it was better. So I make to do lists all the time.
