I went to tai chi

Note that I said I *went* not that I actually did it. They did wind up going to the beach this afternoon but I skipped it because I don't trust the weather. I don't want to be stuck there for hours if it is cloudy or even raining. Our options were tai chi or the gym. I wasn't about to go to the gym so I went to the yoga yurt for tai chi. I grabbed a mat and 2 bolsters, laid down, and covered myself with my blanket. The facilitator asked "are you going to sleep?" and I said that I was going to relax and enjoy the music. One other person showed up and he actually did the movements. I've done it before and it isn't difficult but I just wasn't feeling it today. I told her I would actively participate next week. Now I'm stuck here for another hour and a half or so for "rec" time. You know what that means? Nothing. I could read or play basketball (HAHAHAHAHA) or lay in a wet hammock. It is such a waste of my time but they need to make us stay so they can bill the insurance company for those hours. I hate wasting my time. If they don't have anything for us to do then they should let us go back to the house.

If I could have laid down I would have too. I mean, I probably would have tried it, but ended up laughing hysterically at myself, not being able to finish.

I've only tried tai chi the once but found it quite relaxing.
