What's going on the dinner table tonight? Share with us!
They sent over chicken and rice for dinner but guess what I had for lunch? Chicken and rice. I'm not doing that again. So I grabbed a piece of salmon leftover from last night along with some cooked broccoli. I'm heating it up in the oven because the owner of this place doesn't believe in microwaves. I will have a bit of rice with the fish and veg.
That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? I want to know!

@Ineeddentures I did toast the cheese on the bread.
I had imitation crab because it’s easy to chew.

Earlier in the day, I made up a Mediterranean tri-color Italian pasta salad to get cold in the refrigerator and was going to make chicken and my granddaughter begged for orange chicken so we had rice too. I pulled out the salad and though, an odd combo, it was good.

I used home grown tomatoes and basil to make a sauce for chicken and served it with potatoes and home grown courgette….

I would have opted for the salmon, too. And broccoli is a favorite of mine.
I made a turkey meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. I told the son to pick and this is what he said sounded good to him. Made enough for one more meal as this is one of his favorites.
