Busy Friday and a Thunderstorm

Happy Friday Everyone! it's been a hot, humid day with a thunderstorm hitting us right now. It's not too bad but the lightening is a bit scary. Too bad the storm won't cool things off and we're going to have this heat wave continue into next week.
My day was busy and I got everything done before the rain came.
My dinner plan was to barbecue some chicken but now I have to go to plan B and do it inside. Not a big deal but chicken on the grill just tastes so much better.
Our sides will be potato salad and cole slaw (no veggies tonight).
Aside from a busy day nothing much happening here. Probably look for a good movie to watch tonight.

I am enjoying my Friday working at home completing surveys and sharing news stories while the temperature is 89 degrees F with a partly cloudy day.

Thunderstorms here too. It was a turkey burger and macaroni salad kind of day here.

Well, it was not so busy at work but my sister was under a lot of stress. The staff had been giving her headaches and I couldn't help at all.
So it was a whole day of bad mood for her and when she is, she's terrible to everybody including me.

It was really raining hard when we got up this morning, and it kept up a strong pace until about 10:30, and then it let up for a bit but did not stop until almost noon.
I am not sure if we are getting rain overnight again, or early in the morning, but if it is dry when I get up, I will go to the lab and get my bloodwork done. I hate to leave it to next week in case it is raining then, and I cannot back out. There is nothing worst than standing in the rain.

Our hot tropical weather continues with thunderstorms on and off, I get to order my monthly groceries tomorrow, so I am hoping I get my delivery before another storm starts

Hold on, cole slaw is veggies, right?
I had smoked salmon earlier and pretty soon I'm making a salmon fillet over veggies, but not until the temps cool a little. It's about 100f right now so maybe by 8pm it'll be down to 96f or so, that's not too bad for cooking.
