Are you loyal to a school?

Both my parents and sister got their Masters degree at OU (Oklahoma University) so when the college teams of sports from American football to gymnastics (two of the sports we excel at; yes, I said we) I root for OU. My entire family on my dad’s side is an OU fan (several actually went there). Are you loyal to any schools? So much so that you follow them after you graduate or leave?

I went to a community college, so I have no loyalty to any school or anything. I tend to root for the Colorado schools to do well - Colorado, Colorado State, Air Force. I guess my state is my loyalty.

@AmbiePam - Yes. I like the energy he's brought. They were terrible before he got there. Not that they're great now, but they're better.

Yes always LSU because it was the hometown college. Then I got to work there for 13 years before I retired. I still root for the home team!!! Geaux Tigers!

@AmbiePam Yes, transferred from Natural Resources/Pipeline Division to Wetland Biochemisty Laboratory. Loved it there until they took several departments and put them all under Coastal and Environment. These professors all competed for the same NSF grants and they did not get along well for the most part. Plus the new boss I got over there was not good. I did not enjoy working there under him.

I have a 'soft spot' for Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. That is where our son got his honours degree there, he was only 17 when we moved him into residence.

I'm not. I don't pay attention to college sports. My school was D2 when I went there but now they are D1.

I'm not really into college sports, and that might be because I went to a small art school with no teams. If I had to pick, I'd support WVU, because everyone else in my family went there.

I like hockey and football. As far as possible I watch all international matches. But I don't watch collage and school teams play these sports.

Not too much, but alot of my family including sis, bro in law and myself went to Penn State. We all went to a football game in recent years..but it was so cold that day!

That's so nice you are a gymnast! Anyway, I can say yes, if only there is a college in my alam matter where I graduate in kindergarten, elementary and highschool, I might - with my whole batch -go to that smae school for college. Actually most of my classmates from kinder are also my classmate until highschool, and some of them are my schoolmates in college. Lol! So I guess most of us are loyal to our school.

I keep up with my highschool kind of. And I keep up with the football scores of the college I went to. But I'm not fiercely that way. I'll watch a couple games a year.

Not really loyal to any. But my parents had 5 kids and we all went through the same kindergarten and primary school, so i guess that can be considered as loyal to some extent right?
