When cheat days become regular days

I've never understood the whole concept of "cheat" days when people have a weight loss or health goal. Like do you want to achieve your goal or not? I did 2 6-week weight loss challenges back to back. I lost 25 pounds the first time and 18 pounds the second. I followed the nutrition and exercise to a "T" and had a lot of success. After that my way of eating was pretty much permanently changed for the better. I've never been one to eat a lot of sweets, candy, etc. but I did eat a lot of pasta. Now I might have it once a week. I eat more vegetables and protein. I don't really snack. I guess I shouldn't say I don't understand "cheat" days but I don't understand why people who are actively trying to improve their health have so many of them. I have a coworker who attempted the 6-week challenge. Before the first week she was drinking beer and eating loaded nachos on a Friday after work because it was her birthday. I don't think she made it past the 2nd week. I don't say I have "cheat" days now. I have achieved my weight loss goal. I still eat healthy things for the most part but I don't think twice if I want to have a cheesesteak or movie popcorn or a piece of ice cream cake. I did the hard work to get to where I am so I can afford to indulge now and then. The point is that I did the hard work. I see so many people who want to reward themselves for. . . I don't even know what. I don't have access to my phone but I will write a post later about my experience with the 6-week challenges. I haven't written about them in quite awhile.

When I was trying to lose weight I couldn’t do “cheat days” because it would turn into letting myself go too far. I had to stay on track. Now, sugary foods make me feel sick, and I don’t even want a bite. Who wants to feel like crap all the time? It’s not worth it.

I watch what I eat but occasionally seem to crave sweet stuff. I wonder if it's tied up with hormones. I rarely snack.
