It's an overcast day

It's 12:44 p.m. I'm finally done with my house chores, made a quick run to the market, and I'm back home. I had some noodles and eggs, so I'm taking a moment to think. I spoke with my sister. She stayed with my mum and stepdad at the hospital overnight. The doctors have confirmed he's suffering from partial paralysis, and he can't swallow. One side of his body has been affected. I called my brother, and he remains hopeful. I'm trying to be hopeful too, but honestly, I'm scared. My mum loves him so much, and seeing them go through this is so difficult. I never imagined things would turn out this way. I always hoped he'd enjoy many more years, just like his own mum did. I’ll be heading to the hospital later today to see him for myself and spend some time with the family. The weather is cool today, and it doesn't look like the sun will make much of an appearance. I'm hoping for brighter days, not just in the sky, but for my family as well. Have a wonderful day, wherever you are, and if you pray, please keep my stepdad and my family in your thoughts.
