Continuing to play catch-up in reporting my monthly goal results, March saw a slight digression from the pattern of reading two books and finishing one art project. By the end of the month, I had finished reading only one book, Body of Evidence, a mystery/thriller by Patricia Cornwell (you will see a lot more from her this year as I read through her Scarpetta series), but I compensated by finishing two art projects, both of which were collaged cards.
I think I have already published pictures of the cards before because I wrote about them when I completed them...I think? I know I did the first one. Let me check...
Oh my goodness. I went back to look at my discussions to see if I had posted the second card and realized that I ALREADY made a post about my monthly goals back in March. Oops!
At the time, I posted January through March goals, which...I have done again, so sorry about that. D'oh! However, apparently I dropped the thread and forgot to make further posts, even though I have actually kept up with it. So let's go ahead and do April, then, since you've seen my art for March.
In April, I did read two books, Spine by Jud Fine and Harry Reese, and The Body Farm by Patricia Cornwell (see?). The art project I finished was the pastel picture of a flooded Miami in the future, after global warming causes sea levels to rise. I did post a picture of that at the time, and then another one when it was matted, but here is a picture of the project in a much earlier form than you've seen. At this point, the pencil sketch is finished, and I am laying in the base colors. You can still see the pencil.
Sorry about the redundant posts, guys. I'm getting pretty flaky in my old age, lol

If you hadn't volunteered the information about writing about the same subject again, nobody would have said anything.
