Guinness Book of World Records shows a dog named Bobi is the oldest dog on record. He was a Rafeiro do Alentejo breed which is a Portuguese breed. He was verified by Guinness Book of World Records as being both the oldest dog on record, and the oldest in history. He had lived for 30 years and 266 days. Guinness shows the oldest cat on record as being Creme Puff. She was a mixed tabby living for 38 years and three days old when she died.
