Have you ever used a mobile mechanic?

I had one here that AAA sent to replace my battery a few weeks ago. Now it turns out I need to have a sensor replaced. I have already purchased one from a parts store that should work. Had their quickie enginee checker done.The store said the part will fit. I was thinking of going to Meineke, but they might insist on doing their own diagnostic thus inflating the bill. I am pretty sure since I know about where the sensor needs to be replaced..the bank and can get more detail from AI, I could just get a mechanic to put the part in. Now, most of these mobile guys only do oil changes, windshield and battery replacement etc. However, some will replace parts. The one that is near me only has oil change on his page..but maybe he will do more. Have you ever used one for more than something basic?

Tractors on farms
I'm sure a mobile mechanic will put the sensor on with no problems
You could always phone and ask

The problem is since I am here in rural America, those kinds of things and the people who do them are a bit hard to find. I will keep working on it, hopefully I will come up with something. I am not going to do it this week anyway. I am planning to get it done after I get paid.

I don't know of any official ones around us. But found a nice young lady that will do a lot of the work here

@wolfgirl569 Other than one of my cousins never knew a girl mechanic. She gave it up after awhile though and became a service manager. She was probably tired of breaking her nails and getting grease under them..

That's super. You couldn't get that stuff done for free here..maybe th windshield wipers, but they wouldn't come to your house to do it.
