Jelly Roll is taking up to 2 years off

Singer Jelly Roll (real name: Jason DeFord) announced that he was taking a year or two off from touring in order to heal and focus on his mental health after his divorce from wife Bunnie Xo. It hasn't been made clear exactly what caused the divorce but the general public also doesn't need to know the details. I do have respect for the fact that they haven't bashed each other publicly. Jelly Roll has said that they are best friends and he will always love her. I can definitely understand that. I can only imagine that he will continue to work on new music. That's what musicians do whether they are doing tours or not. That can be a big part of how they process their feelings and life circumstances. What he produces (if he does produce anything) may never be released and that is okay.
