Seen this beauty this afternoon. I watched it until it flew away. It looked like it was thinking about my chickens. That's another reason I keep the run covered. I wasn't too worried about the kittens because they were asleep in the carport. I did have an easy day today. It got down to 65 for a while after the storm. That felt good. A chance of more storms this evening with wind. So I have my hanging baskets down to be safe. Kenton had high winds with this mornings storm and has poles down. But only in a small area. Hope you had a good day.

Majestic bird…just wish they’d keep their talons and beaks off things like your chickens and my squirrels. Wow, 65 sounds great! Then it went right back up to 85, right? With 600% humidity??

Is that a hawk? An eagle? It's huge. I have never seen a bird that big flying over here.

It has been an okay day. Pretty and I both got packages in the mail. (Mine was new underwear. I've lost enough weight that my older underwear was falling off me if I wasn't careful. ) Pretty is still asleep so I don't know what is in her package. I need to go in and start making late lunch for both of us. I have hamburger thawed for spaghettin.
