It's around 9:12 p.m. and after a long day, I'm finally home having dinner. I spoke with my sister today, and my stepdad won't be discharged just yet. The neurologist wants to keep him under observation for two more days, since he's still not eating well. They're hoping he'll start eating on his own, so they won't need more invasive feeding procedures. He's been moved from the emergency ward to a more comfortable room, and we're just praying for steady improvement so he can come home soon. I'll be at the hospital tomorrow with him, trusting for better news. And tonight, while scrolling Facebook, I stumbled on the profile of someone I lost touch with years ago. So I sent a friend request and a message, hoping we can reconnect. Sometimes life just surprises you like that. While scrolling Facebook, I also came across several posts claiming different medicines or treatments could cure stroke or paralysis. I took screenshots and sent them to my mom, and I even messaged some of the people posting them. At this point, we're exploring every possible option while still relying on his medical care. Thanks again to everyone keeping my family in your thoughts. We're taking it one day at a time.
