Butter , butter , everywhere ……except here ! / myLot

So a store ……let’s call them Farmfoods …..sell butter that is supposed to be really nice, good for baking ( I know several professional bakers that use it ), and just about everything else. Every so often they have it on special offer ….at a really cheap price. It was on offer in January when The Mister was off work …..i can’t tell you how many stores we visited to try and find some butter ….no luck at all ! Anyway, I heard it was on special offer again this week…..I realised I knew where there was a branch of the store not far away … I was on a mission this morning ….. Did I find any ? Noooooooo ! I was so disappointed. I have decided I am just never going to find any of this butter …..I will try to be brave about it !!! Does it annoy you when you see something you want on special offer , then you can’t find it …..?

@traceyjayne Perhaps you might consider buying a cow, milking it and churning you own butter. While you’re at it could you make me some cheddar?

@Traceyjayne We had eccentric neighbours once who kept a cow called Nyaphemgose in their back yard for milk. She had a calf called Annabelle

@xFiacre I have a couple of friends who have kept chicken , but never a cow ….imagine waking up and seeing a cow in your garden !

I’m sorry, girl! I don’t even how good that butter is, but I find myself being disappointed FOR you.

I honestly don’t look for the special offers anymore because too often in the past I’ve tried to get it, and always miss out. I guess other people are just way better at getting to these things than I am.

@AmbiePam ……I’m not usually too bad at getting offers , but this flipping butter is just nowhere to be seen. I really need to see if it’s stocked when it’s not on special ….i have heard of some places putting items on a special offer but not putting the items on the shelf, they just tell potential customers to try the following week …..so , when the customer does try next week, the product it there, but not on the offer ! …..crafty eh !
